Canvas lets you observe your child's courses as a parent. Follow these steps to get connected.
Visit k12.instructure.com and click "Create an Account." Use your personal email address to sign up as a parent/guardian.
Your child's pairing code will be provided by Ms. Thomas. This code links your parent account to your child's student account so you can view their progress.
After logging in, go to Account > Observing. Enter the pairing code to connect to your child's courses. You'll now be able to see their assignments and grades.
Check in regularly to view your child's progress, upcoming assignments, and any announcements from the program. You can also set up email notifications.

Take a few minutes each week to look at your child's upcoming assignments and discuss what they're learning.
Acknowledge your child's completed work and growth. Positive reinforcement builds confidence and motivation.
Add R.O.E. Academy Saturday sessions to your family calendar. Consistent attendance helps your child get the most from the program.
